How to operate a Village Savings Bank

Climate change has greatly affected women of Msiyamphanja Village in Chikwawa, Malawi. They are travelling a long distance to collect firewood. As one way of mitigating the impact, Chikwawa Diocese CADECOM is training women to mould Chitetezo Mbaula (Stoves) that relay on few firewood.

Due to land degradation the soil around Msiyamphanje Village lost its fertility. As one way of making the soil fertile again, Chikwawa Diocese CADECOM is teaching the villagers how to make manure using a pit and applying the manure in their fields
