Agroforestry is a holistic and sustainable system to grow the best quality coffee. In this video, the importance of shade trees in a coffee plantation is explained, as well as how to plan them.
The video is in Kinyarwanda, subtitled in english.
The video has been developed in the framework the “Partner Afrika” Project implemented by Naturland in partnership with ROAM (Rwanda Organic Agriculture Movement), with a particular focus on the women’s group Ejo Heza in the KOPAKAMA cooperative (Karongi district, Rwanda). It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development via sequa.
